The unique Audi art installation IGNITION R8 was specially developed for the Audi R8 world premiere 2006 in Miami. This conceptual piece of art takes inspiration from the R8's 'initial spark' ignition and translates it into a dynamic space. Complementary print materials and the development of an illustrative visual language completed the creation of a truly unique premiere.

The Adidas outdoor exhibition stand rises like floating mountains, dynamically into the space. A winding band divides the varied product groups and 2D graphics turns into 3D bodies (and vice versa) all the way to the mountain top.

The world premiere of the new Audi A8 – in the extraordinary setting of the Design Miami/Basel. Here the brand’s new flagship will be presented in a truly unusual perspective to visitors. Guests enter an over scaled lounge, that seems to have shrunk to a miniature size. Also the A8 Lookbook, presenting color and trim configurations of the new model, is displayed in a XXL scale. The result is an overall spectacular presentation of the new Audi Highlight at the Design Miami/Basel.

The packaging design emphasises the functional character of the product. As a finishing touch, the champagne comes with a rope for the ship naming, and a leaflet containing directions for ship-naming ceremonies.
